[mailto:info@example.com?&subject=&body=https://www.cloudnation.nl/en/inspiration/blogs/ai-literacy-a-key-pillar-of-the-eu-ai-act-and-cloudnations-approach](mailto:info@example.com?&subject=&body=https://www.cloudnation.nl/en/inspiration/blogs/ai-literacy-a-key-pillar-of-the-eu-ai-act-and-cloudnations-approach) In August 2024, the EU AI Act began rolling out in phases to regulate the use of artificial intelligence (AI). As of January 2025, this law requires organizations that develop, implement, or operate AI systems to ensure their teams have sufficient AI literacy. But what exactly does AI literacy mean, and how is CloudNation addressing it? ### What is AI Literacy? AI literacy is more than just technical knowledge about AI systems. It’s about having the skills and understanding needed to engage with AI in an informed way. This means employees should be able to comprehend and critically assess AI systems, including their ethical and societal impact. In a world where AI is becoming an integral part of business operations and decision-making, AI literacy is essential. ### CloudNation’s Approach to AI Literacy At CloudNation, we believe in the power of AI and the importance of AI literacy. That’s why we’ve made it a core part of how we support our clients in their digital transformation journey. CloudNation offers a wide range of AI-driven solutions, from chatbots to predictive analytics, while also helping clients develop the skills needed to use these technologies effectively. For us, AI literacy isn’t just about technical know-how—it’s also about empowering employees and engaging them in the ethical and societal aspects of AI. We achieve this through internal tools and processes designed to boost productivity and knowledge sharing. Some key examples include: - **Knowledge Management** – Centralizing and accessing internal expertise. - **Evaluation Tools** – Benchmarking solutions and improving performance. - **Automation** – Streamlining repetitive internal tasks. - **Productivity Boosters** – Creating smarter workflows for teams. By prioritizing AI literacy, CloudNation ensures that clients not only benefit from advanced AI solutions but also gain the skills to use them responsibly and effectively. ### Conclusion The EU AI Act highlights AI literacy as a crucial skill for organizations working with AI. CloudNation embraces this by integrating AI literacy into its approach and helping clients build the necessary expertise. By promoting AI literacy, CloudNation ensures that businesses are prepared for the future of AI and can make the most of these powerful technologies. #### Would you like to learn more about our AI capabilities?   [Learn more ](https://www.cloudnation.nl/en/services/cloud-data-ai) ![Ruben van den H-2](https://7979774.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net/hubfs/7979774/Ruben%20van%20den%20H-2.jpg) [mailto:info@example.com?&subject=&body=https://www.cloudnation.nl/en/inspiration/blogs/ai-literacy-a-key-pillar-of-the-eu-ai-act-and-cloudnations-approach](mailto:info@example.com?&subject=&body=https://www.cloudnation.nl/en/inspiration/blogs/ai-literacy-a-key-pillar-of-the-eu-ai-act-and-cloudnations-approach) ![](https://www.cloudnation.nl/hubfs/CN_Rond__0015_Joran.jpg) **Joran Markx** Co-Founder & CTO Azure Publish date: 12 February 2025 ## More knowledge, how-to's and insights for inspiration [![](https://7979774.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net/hubfs/7979774/Right%20Banner%20size%20%2842%29.png) News ## IG&H acquires CloudNation from Atomic Group Lees verder ](https://www.cloudnation.nl/en/inspiration/blogs/igh-acquires-cloudnation-from-atomic-group) [![](https://7979774.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net/hubfs/7979774/Right%20Banner%20size%20%2810%29-1.png) News Azure ## Microsoft Channel AI Market Maker Partner of the Year 2025!
