Hiring: Cloud Support Engineer

Your role

Automate to the max. As a Cloud Support Engineer, you will be part of our Managed Cloud service team responsible for the maintenance and enablement of our customers cloud environments. You will not focus on reactive work but on giving pro-active support and advise. Our goal is to help the customer long term, and this is done by limiting our lock-in at the customer side. You will be an important factor within the team, and you will have a lot of room to bring up improvements and give shape to the way we support our customers.

Some specific actions you will do throughout your workweek is to help customers with questions, create and maintain automated deployment / maintenance solutions and prepare workshops to educate our customers. Optionally, you could also give these workshops to our customers yourself.

Your toolbox

You like to discover new roads and fix issues with creative and maintainable solutions. Analyzing is your nature. You like to be in an advisor role for our customers. An entrepreneurial culture is appealing to you as a lot of time will be spent helping to build and shape our Managed Cloud Services department.

Experience with various Linux distro’s and/or windows;
Experience with (Hybrid) cloud environment such as AWS, Azure or Google;
Knowledge of IP-networking, VPN’s and firewalling;
Experience with managing database, SQL or NoSQL (Pré);
Ability to analyze and communicate clearly;
Profound understanding of the Dutch and English language (written and verbal)
