Azure Solution Architect

What You’ll Do:

Discover

• Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs, workloads, and existing infrastructure.
• Position CloudNation’s value proposition during discovery meetings, ensuring alignment between client needs and CloudNation’s capabilities.
• Qualify the opportunity by assessing whether the customer’s requirements align with CloudNation’s solutions and expertise.

Define

• Develop solution architectures that align with Azure best practices for security, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
• Match CloudNation’s value proposition with the requirements of different stakeholders, ensuring the solution addresses the needs of IT, business, and other relevant departments.
• Co-create proposals and designs with the customer, ensuring input from key stakeholders is integrated. Proposals should include not just technology elements but also People & Process

Design

• Create technical blueprints for Azure environments, incorporating multi-account strategies, security controls, and disaster recovery.
• Ensure that the team (Cloud Consultant, Engineers, Project Management) is involved in the design phase to guarantee successful development and delivery, in line with the "If you Design it, You will Develop it, You will Deliver it"
• Present the proposal, solution, and design to the client, ensuring clarity and demonstrating how the solution addresses all stakeholder requirements.

Your Impact:

Additionally, the Azure Solution Architect plays a key role in positioning CloudNation’s value proposition to customers. They qualify opportunities by assessing whether the customer’s needs align with CloudNation’s capabilities. The Solution Architect ensures that the value proposition matches the diverse requirements of different stakeholders, integrating not only Technology but also People & Process considerations into proposals and designs.

A crucial aspect of the role is adhering to CloudNation's motto: "If you Design it, You will Develop it, You will Deliver it." This means that Solution Architects must actively involve the team, Cloud Consultants, Engineers, and Project Management, during the design phase. By doing so, they ensure alignment across all phases of the 6D Delivery Model, which is essential for project success, quality, and long-term outcomes.

The role emphasizes co-creation with customers, working collaboratively to build tailored solutions. Success in this role is measured based on the quality and effectiveness of the solutions delivered, including their scalability, security, cost-efficiency, and alignment with stakeholder goals.

What You Bring:

• Strong experience with Azure architecture (e.g., multi-region, hybrid cloud, security best practices).
• Ability to position value propositions and align solutions with stakeholder needs
  Experience with solution design and diagramming tools (e.g., Azure Architecture Center, Visio).
• Expertise in Azure Well-Architected Framework, Cost management and optimization in
• Expertise in People & Process integration in cloud solution designs
  Strong communication and presentation skills, particularly in co-creating solutions with customers.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams (Cloud Consultants, Engineers, Project Management) to ensure successful delivery of designed solutions.
• Works together with sales to assemble a customer-facing team when starting up new projects.
• Can handle administrative tasks involved in project management (e.g. creation of projects, invoicing).

Experience level:

• Junior - Medior Solution Architect:
  3-5 years of Azure experience, focusing on smaller-scale projects and supporting senior architects.
• Senior Solution Architect:
  5+ years of experience with complex, multi-cloud, or hybrid environments, leading the full Discover, Define, and Design phases, ensuring alignment across Technology, People & Process, and following the "If you Design it, You will Develop it, You will Deliver it"
