New Capabilities Amazon Bedrock *Guardrails for Amazon Bedrock* Empowers users to implement tailored safeguards for their generative AI applications, in alignment with their principles of responsible AI. Now available for preview. *Knowledge bases for Amazon Bedrock* Facilitates the development of generative AI applications that leverage proprietary data, delivering personalized and current responses for applications such as chatbots and question-answering systems. Now widely accessible. *Agents for Amazon Bedrock* Facilitates the execution of complex business tasks by generative AI applications, utilizing company systems and data sources for tasks like providing information on product availability or processing sales orders. Now generally available. *Fine-tuning for Amazon Bedrock* Customers now have expanded choices for customizing models within Amazon Bedrock, with fine-tuning support for Cohere Command Lite, Meta Llama 2, and Amazon Titan Text models, and Anthropic Claude support coming soon. **Strategic Alliance with Trend Micro: Elevating Cloud Security** Mark, Tom, and Hugo, engaged in a breakfast meeting with Trend Micro representatives Fernando Cardoso, Sebastiaan van der Meer and Mike Milner. While falling back to direct database requests might suffice in smaller setups, at scale, focusing on fixing the cache layer promptly enhances overall resiliency. 2. * Managing SQS Queues*: In scenarios where applications utilize SQS queues with consumers and workers, predicting recovery time is crucial. Small environments may manage a queue buildup effectively, but at scale, defining boundaries, such as the maximum age of messages, ensures a predictable recovery time after worker failures, thereby improving overall system resiliency.
