CloudNation implementeerde een multi-account, multi-regio AWS-architectuur met Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), wat schaalbaarheid, veerkracht en optimale prestaties garandeerde. De migratie zorgde voor ononderbroken dienstverlening, verbeterde klantconnectiviteit en nieuwe marktkansen via AWS Marketplace, wat bijdroeg aan Waylay’s groei en succes. Hun gepatenteerde technologie stelt bedrijven in staat om data-analyse en orkestratiescenario's met ongekende snelheid te implementeren. Dit resulteert in een significante verlaging van integratie- en productimplementatiekosten, terwijl nieuwe diensten snel kunnen worden uitgerold en OPEX-kosten onder controle blijven.   ## De uitdaging Waylay kwam naar ons toe met een cruciale uitdaging: een naadloze migratie van Google Cloud Platform (GCP) naar Amazon Web Services (AWS), zonder onderbreking van de dienstverlening aan hun klanten. Het belangrijkste doel van deze migratie was het realiseren van directe connectiviteit met hun grootste klanten, die al gebruik maakten van AWS-infrastructuur. ## Onze oplossing Met een duidelijk begrip van de complexiteit van de opdracht hebben we een uitgebreide oplossing ontworpen, specifiek afgestemd op de behoeften van Waylay. Ons team ontwierp een geavanceerde multi-accountarchitectuur gecombineerd met een multi-regio AWS-opzet. Door gebruik te maken van Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) hebben we een schaalbare en robuuste infrastructuur opgezet om de Waylay-applicatie te hosten. Deze aanpak zorgde niet alleen voor optimale prestaties, maar legde ook de basis voor toekomstige uitbreiding en verbeterde connectiviteit met klanten. ## Resultaten De succesvolle uitvoering van onze oplossing resulteerde in een soepele migratie van Waylay's workload naar AWS. De Waylay-applicatie draait nu op de nieuw geïmplementeerde infrastructuur en voldoet aan de gestelde prestatie- en beschikbaarheidseisen. Bovendien heeft Waylay via AWS Marketplace nieuwe kansen aangeboord om potentiële klanten te bereiken, wat heeft geleid tot een grotere marktbereik en bedrijfsgroei. ## Gebruikte tools en technologieën Tijdens dit project hebben we gebruik gemaakt van een breed scala aan geavanceerde tools en technologieën om het migratieproces te stroomlijnen en de infrastructuur te optimaliseren: - **Terraform**: Ingezet voor Infrastructure as Code (IaC) om de provisioning van AWS-resources te automatiseren en consistentie en betrouwbaarheid over verschillende omgevingen te waarborgen. - **GitHub Actions**: Gebruikt voor continuous integration en deployment (CI/CD), wat efficiënte softwarelevering en implementatieworkflows mogelijk maakte. - **AWS-diensten**: Diverse AWS-diensten zijn ingezet, waaronder Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), Relational Database Service (RDS), Identity and Access Management (IAM) en Simple Storage Service (S3), om een robuuste en schaalbare infrastructuur te ontwerpen die is afgestemd op de eisen van Waylay.   ## Conclusie Onze samenwerking met Waylay is een voorbeeld van onze toewijding aan het leveren van maatwerkoplossingen die de meest urgente uitdagingen van onze klanten aanpakken. Door de kracht van AWS te benutten en gebruik te maken van toonaangevende tools en technologieën, hebben we Waylay succesvol door hun migratietraject geleid.
